Charles Gatewood, an American artist born in 1941, cultivated his skills at the Art Center College of Design in Los Angeles, California, where he earned a B.S. in Industrial Design. Following his education, he spent eleven years as part of the General Motors Design Staff in Michigan, developing a strong foundation in design and creativity. Since 1976, Gatewood has been painting with oils on linen canvas or hardboard, showcasing his work through street shows and select galleries. His dedication to his craft has led him to participate in prominent art fairs across the country, including events in Miami, New York, Orlando, Saint Louis and more.
