Dougrey Hong
Impressionistic Artist
Born in South Korea, I have cultivated a lifelong appreciation for art and its power to transcend cultural boundaries and connect people through creative expression. After graduating from university, I served as an assistant administrator at the Korean National Artists Federation and worked as a curator at the Korean Art Gallery. I also taught painting and established my own art institute, where I shared my knowledge and passion for art with aspiring artists.
Captivated by the natural beauty, fresh air, and warm sunlight of the American South, I eventually made Georgia my home. Since settling there, I have been affiliated with an art company and participated in numerous art fairs and exhibitions throughout the United States. My works have been acquired by public and commercial institutions across the country.
My artistic journey reflects a deep and enduring commitment to creativity, cultural exchange, and the expressive possibilities of art. Through my work, I continue to explore the ways art can communicate beyond words, bridge cultures, and offer meaningful connections between the artist, the viewer, and the world around us.
