I was born in Albany, GA, and always had a love for the arts. As a child I doodled shoes, animals, and comics. I moved to LaGrange, GA when I was a teenager and searched for a way to use my talent.
After learning how to use different art mediums such as illustration, oil paint, painting murals and constructing sculpture, I found a job in the Global Hospitality and Textile Design field and worked for ten years. That gave me the ability to be creative, work with customers, practice time management of different projects, and work with Adobe and textile design computer programs. I learned to think outside the box, and now I am able to create imaginative and interpretive works of art, which I call my specialty.
While I worked full-time, I attended LaGrange College, where I earned art and corporate scholarships. I completed my Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts and Graphic Design in 2011, and was awarded the Annie Moore Smith Award.
