I’ve loved arts and crafts all of my life. The challenge of creating a piece of art and the sense of accomplishment that follows keeps me trying.  I have applied myself to art more seriously since I retired in 2011, taking many art workshops with different artists, developing my own style. My art over the last 10 years has evolved into one that brings me joy.  I have always worked with oils though I love experimenting with other mediums such as pastel and watercolor. This year I have really latched onto using pastels more than oils at the moment. My art consists of a variety of subjects, using a lot of color. I will do commissions as long as I can remain true to my style.
